Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has eagerly anticipated the production and delivery of the Cybertruck, its inaugural pickup truck product.

Musk announced on April 19 that Tesla would start delivering Cybertruck EVs by the third quarter 2023. These electric vehicles (EVs) can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour within 2.9 seconds and travel 500 miles on one charge; their pickup trucks feature payload capacities up to 3,500 lbs and towing capacities over 14,000 lbs, according to company statements.

Tesla has not provided suggested retail prices for their Cybertruck; however, auto experts estimate a starting point price of approximately $40,000.

Ford F-150 Lightning EV has quickly become America's best selling electric pickup since its introduction in April 2022, boasting an estimated range of up to 320 miles.
